About the Course

“Communication is among the first keys for a successful life, since nothing is possible without it. But many people misunderstand communication with a good speaking and this is among the cause of unhappiness.

In life, everything is affected by communication, which is the psychologist’s main tool to understand and interact with users: discover the truth and the techniques for a successful interaction with others and for a better life.”

The course is a practical workshop about communication that includes the essential know-how to understand communication and to develop skills for a better interaction with others. There is not “one best way” but “many best ways” that must be understood first. The course also includes some group exercises about group communication, sales techniques to sell goods or services and a session which is dedicated to pure speaking, useful for events in radio, TV or public speaking.

About the Instructor(s)

Mattia Loy is a freelance professional, which works both in business and private life fields.

Born in Cagliari, Italy, at first he takes the MSc degree in psychology, with specialization in job and social organizations; then he continues to form himself with post-degree courses. Nowadays, he operates in agreement with “UIL-Cagliari” too, one of the most famous labor unions in Italy, as a specialist in mobbing and other social risks as job-related stress, where he is one of the main local experts. His daily job involves working as a private counselor & coach and as a technical expert for lawyers in psychological evaluation, but he enjoys more to operate within his specialization: management of human resources and organizations, skills that have allowed him to build the successful organization called “ISDRI” as well as  but also in other projects related to education, fashion industry, etc.

Job psychology includes communication, marketing, sales, employees selection, education and many other matters which find their equivalent in private life and that are always useful in life.
Course Format

The course will be based on a path-goal strategy, where the knowledge to work is built together. Since in real life there is a strong continuity in job, without any theoretical “break”, also the course is a learning lab that lasts until the whole program has been completed.

Learning Kit
    1. The course will include Doc. Loy’s materials as PowerPoint presentations, images, texts, mementos and reminders together with working tools in editable text format. Being an interactive workshop – the most that can be done in video conference – there are no books to read, but just real experience to live.

  • Q: where may I get Doc. M. Loy’s biography or information?

    A: – it is in Italian language, but you can use Google Chrome or any other web translator to get the meaning of what is written there.

    Q: At the end of the course, what kind of benefits shall I have achieved?

     A: if you do your part, you should have the professional skills for working efficiently in that field of psychology from a true freelance professional, who operates on the field.

    Q: do I need to be a psychologist to attend lessons from Doc. Loy?

     A: It depends from the laws of your Nation: usually, it is better to be at least registered at a University, as students in psychology.

    Q: do I need to be a psychologist to use what learned during the seminars?

     A: Again, it depends on the laws of your Nation: usually, persons that are not graduated in psychology and not enabled to profession cannot use some specific tools, as psychological tests, while other topics (e.g. about communication) are of such common domain that there are no restrictions.
