This course gives an introduction about the problems school children are facing in their institutes and daily life including both psychological and behavioral issues. Moreover, basic assessment and management strategies will be discussed that are essentials to deal with school children’s problems.

About the Instructor(s)
Arooj Maqsood has developed an indigenous scale to assess the study anxiety problems among school children and also is an author of the book “school anxiety among school adolescents”. She is motivated, and much enthusiastic to share her knowledge and understanding regarding the need of a school counselor and his/her role in the development of school children.
Course Format

Offline and online mode of training with voice assisted Powerpoint presentations and a manual provided at the start of the course. The participant will have a week’s time to master one particular module of the course and he/she can contact the trainer either through email/ chat or video chat for any clarifications.

Each module will have its own activity and a pragmatic paper for better understanding.
